During a typical shift, volunteers process over 2,000 pounds of food. Tasks include checking expiration dates, organizing items by category, assembling family meal boxes, and loading delivery vehicles. This is a great team activity and perfect for corporate groups. No special skills required — just a willingness to help. Closed-toe shoes required. Shifts run from 10 AM to 2 PM.
